This kit converts a Sta-Rite System 3 S7M120 or S7M400 to take three Excel Filters XLS-894 cartridges. It is not a drop-in OEM cartridge.

How often should I replace my filter cartridge?
Most pool and spa cartridges last one to two seasons, depending on how much the water is used and its chemistry. Rinse the cartridge monthly during heavy use, and replace it when cleaning no longer brings the flow back or the pleats show wear.
