They fit only a filter that already has the matching Excel Filters retrofit kit installed, as listed on this page. A filter that still has its original modules needs the kit first. If you are not sure which is installed, call us at (888) 532-2801.

How often should I replace my filter cartridge?
Most pool and spa cartridges last one to two seasons, depending on how much the water is used and its chemistry. Rinse the cartridge monthly during heavy use, and replace it when cleaning no longer brings the flow back or the pleats show wear.

No. XLS-895 is the four-cartridge replacement set for the Excel Filters XLS-895K retrofit kit, which is installed in Sta-Rite System 3 S8M filters. It is not the XLS-895K retrofit kit. Confirm your system uses XLS-895 replacement cartridges before ordering.
