Excel Filters makes replacement cartridges for the Pentair® / Rainbow Dynamic spa and in-line filter series — DSF-35, the 35 sq ft DFM/DFML, and the 50 sq ft DFM/DFML, RDC-50, and RTL/RCF-50. Match the Unicel C-4-series number on your current cartridge, and note the DSF-35 takes a matched pair.
Match the Unicel C-4-series number on your cartridge. The DSF-35 housing uses two short cartridges (a matched pair); the 35 and 50 sq ft in-line elements are single open/open cartridges.
Two. The DSF-35 housing takes a matched pair of short 17.5 sq ft cartridges — order XLS-404, which is supplied as the pair. The in-line DFM/DFML, RDC, and RTL housings use a single cartridge.
Read the Unicel number on the end cap — C-4335 is the 35 sq ft element (XLS-418) and C-4950 is the 50 sq ft element (XLS-408) — or measure the cartridge length; the 50 sq ft element is longer.
