Waterco Pool Filter Replacement Cartridges

The easiest way to find the correct replacement is to identify your Waterco® filter housing model or the manufacturer cartridge part number printed on your existing cartridge.

If the part number is unavailable, measure your cartridge’s outside diameter, length, and end-cap style to confirm the correct replacement.

For help identifying your filter system, see our Waterco® Filter Buying Guide or use our Waterco® Cross-Reference Charts to match your existing cartridge to the correct Excel Filters replacement.

The Waterco® Opal XL 270 filter system uses two different cartridge sizes that work together in the same housing. Unlike most multi-cartridge filters that use identical elements, the Opal XL 270 requires one of each of the following Excel Filters replacement cartridges: XLS-937 1-Pack (1 cartridge required) and XLS-938 1-Pack (1 cartridge required).

Both cartridges must be replaced together to maintain proper fit, water flow, and filtration performance.

Important: the two cartridges are connected together using the original Waterco® coupling connector. This connector must be removed from your existing cartridges and reused during installation. The connector is not included with the replacement cartridges and is not available from Excel Filters.

Before ordering, verify your Waterco® Opal XL 270 filter housing model or existing cartridge part numbers. If you need assistance, see our Waterco® Filter Buying Guide or Waterco® Cross-Reference Charts.
