Excel Filters makes direct-fit replacement cartridges for Waterway® ProClean single-element filters, matched by the 817-series part number on your current cartridge. Note the ProClean 125 shipped with two different elements over the years — confirm the N or P suffix on your part number before ordering.
ProClean 125 owners: two element versions exist — 817-0125N (Unicel C-8412) and 817-0125P (Unicel C-8413). They differ in end caps and media area, so match the part number stamped on your current cartridge. We carry both the 817-0125N (XLS-802) and 817-0125P (XLS-825) versions — order the one matching the part number on your cartridge.
Not as a direct swap. The P and N versions use different end caps and media areas even though the housings share a name. Match the exact part number on your current cartridge; if yours is the P version, contact us before ordering.
The size is printed on the filter tank (125, 150, 175, or 200) and the element part number is stamped on the cartridge end cap. Match both against the chart above — the part number always wins if they disagree.
