Eden Equipment Company, Inc. (“Eden”) warrants to the original purchaser (the “Buyer”) of its filter cartridge products for a period of 180 days from the date of purchase that each of its filter cartridge products is free from defects in materials and workmanship and conforms to Eden’s published specifications. This limited, non-transferable warranty is made only to the Buyer, and is valid for a period of 180 days commencing from the date of purchase shown on the invoice unless otherwise agreed by Eden in writing.

Claims under this warranty must be made directly to Eden Equipment Company, Inc. at the contact information below within 180 days of the date of purchase. Eden’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the refund, repair or replacement, at its option, of products or components thereof that prove upon examination to the satisfaction of Eden to be defective during the 180 day period of this warranty. Eden will, in its sole discretion, specify the type of service provided, and replacement products will assume the remaining warranty period of the parts they replace rather than commencing a new 180 day warranty period. All costs associated with removing the products from service and re-installing same following examination, repair or replacement are to be borne by Buyer. Eden may,in its sole discretion, require that the products be shipped to Eden’s facility for examination, repair or replacement. All transportation costs to and from Eden’s facility, if required, are to be prepaid by Buyer.

Refund, repair or replacement of the Eden filter cartridge product is the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty. This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use. It does not cover failures that result from products or services not supplied by Eden, or failures resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, faulty installation, improper maintenance or cleaning, or alteration or modification of the product. Any alteration, disassembly, storage or use of the products not in accordance with Eden’s instructions shall void the warranty. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages. Eden also disclaims all implied warranties, such as warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If any such implied warranties are found to exist, they are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period set forth above. This 180 day limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, statutory or otherwise. In no event shall Eden be liable for special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of use, income, profit, capital or business opportunity(ies) even if Eden has been advised of such possible income, capital or business opportunity(ies) or such damages.
